Do you think it’s unprofessional to tell an employee not to work their last two weeks? ?
My boss told me not to bother to come in after I gave her my notice . I didn’t go to a competitor business , it is a completely different field

It is very common.

It is not unprofessional at all. Some need you and others can do without you and figure that they are better off without you. It's their choice.Source(s): Certified Paralegal, with 25+ years' experience & with Employment law experience.
