I just had a post deleted for violating Facebook's new "Holocaust denial" ban. Did they ban it because more and more people are waking up?

"Did they ban it because more and more people are waking up?"

Well, there seems to be many here that think they have first-hand information as-to WHY facebook has censored Holocaust denial but, it's all conjecture because only facebook know WHY, Holocaust denial has been blocked.

Maybe facebook is being threatened by a powerful religious minority?

Questioning what little details there maybe, seem tobe regarded by some, as act of hatred.

Normally questioning the details of the subject matter is an act for enquiry, a need for more information but, it would now seem that questioning detail, is now an act of hatred.

Censorship always makes the details look more suspect, than maybe, they are.

I’m not a Holocaust denier of any sh ape or form, but I am uncomfortable about telling people what they can and cannot think. I know there’s plenty of evidence that denying is just plain stupid, but so are many other “beliefs”.

Are we going to start banning them too? Then we have become just like the Nazis .

Well, that's their policy, and judging by the support to that here, it appears that the way forward for everyone is to demand the same treatment from facebook and all other social media for their own specific cause(s).  So if it's acceptable to ban opinions about historical events that offend one group, then the same principle should apply to all.  And anyone who challenges any official orthodoxy on any historical event should be banned as well.  After all, equal treatment should be expected, right?

Realize that this  kind of thinking would have kept us in the dark ages, from never reaching the Enlightenment.  But this does appear the way most of this modern generation agrees with, so until we understand that this might stifle us for another few centuries, then this is the way .... forward.

I don't imagine they have a violation for any "Jesus denial" ban, now do they?

How about one for the "Armenian genocide denial" ban, or  a "Holodomor denial" ban ore even a "Palestinian holocaust denial" ban?  Do any of these exist?  And should it be illegal to deny any of those, and more in our so-called "free" nations today? ... makes you think.

No one is waking up, although some surely need to do so.

Pretending that posts have been deleted, is almost as pitiful as rushing here to boast about it.

Holocaust deniers are a special kind of stupid, and sadly stupid is not against the law.

Denying the Holocaust is the racist's equivalent of claiming a flat Earth.  Both are morons. Facebook and some other social media are getting tired of being used by the malevolent to promote XPEH.

If more people were ‘waking up’ then surely it would be the opposite. You’d be free to spout your hate without opposition.

Why do people like you feel the need to deny the Holocaust at all other than as a form of provocative antisemitic trolling?

It's the only historical event that you cannot question and why when there's no evidence of murder equipment, no documents, no photographs, no bodies and no scientific evidence, the whole scam was put together by witness testimonies given in a kangaroo court setting with no cross examination

They deleted it because as you very well know troll the holocaust did take place and in some countries its a crime to deny the holocaust. As it should be in all countries
