Even for 1 minute..why is yahoo allowed to host users posting pictures of snuff, child porn and abuse?

The site is "Community Moderated" which means other users are expected to report violating content, and get it taken down. No one who works for Yahoo/Verizon is reviewing posts here as they hit the site. It IS a violation to post the content you mention, but unless enough users report it, it doesn't get removed (and some trolls will keep re-posting it regardless).

Report violations when you see them. If you feel you see something that should be reported to the police, then do so.
