Please help with my monitor?

I have a ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27VQ and when I use the joystick type control on the back it makes a louder click noise at the right side then the other sides. Is my monitoring broken?

There is no "joystick control on the back" of that monitor or any other monitor I ever heard of.  There is a stand arm.
