  • No college team would be able to beat a pro team. These are little boys going against grown men.

No, even the worst NFL team has players who were in the top 8% of all college players.  They are experienced professionals, and are used to the speed of an NFL game.   A college team, no matter how good they are, aren't prepared to play at the professional level.

No, no college team is remotely deep enough to compete with an NFL team. Some fool asks this every year, don't be that fool.

Better question: If you were starting a franchise from scratch and you got to pick 5 guys off of either the Jets or Clemson to build around, you take 5 guys off Clemson, right?

No and it wouldn’t be close.

Most players in the best college team will not be good enough to make it to the NFL. The worst player in the worst NFL team was a star in college.

No - if you know anything about football, or sports in general, would know that not everyone from a college team, no matter how good, becomes a pro & not all of those become stars.

Source(s): I've seen play - and known - enough quality D1 athletes to know the difference between college and pro. Even had a classmate that was all-conference in baseball yet undrafted or offered a tryout by a single team in MLB.

No, only about 10-12 Clem players will even be drafted by NFL teams.

Imo, most of the team are not even NFL practice squad material.
