Are statins necessary after a mini-stroke?

You say you had a mini stroke which is a stroke although a mild one and is because arteries are clogged and statins hep unclog them

You had a mini stroke because your arteries are semi blocked heading to blocked so unless you drastically change your diet and do a lot of exercise then yes you have to take the statins to try and stop your arteries getting blocked.

Google mini stroke or TIA, it is usually caused by a blood clot blocking oxygen to the brain which is normally the result of high cholesterol. No I am not American I am from UK
