Is it unfair that the English pay the lion's share of income tax in Australia and British multinationals get extorted?

The English-born only make up 7% of the Australian population but pay 19% of all income tax. British multinationals make up 20% of the Australian government's corporate tax revenue. Are the Australians taking advantage of us?

Mr Jinx: Stole from who exactly? Show me your title deeds.

Update 2:

Mel: Ask Starbucks, Apple or Microsoft if they pay taxes in the country they made money in. The British multinationals do not tax evade or avoid.

Update 3:

Just as a side-note: The British let every European mine and do what they want tax-free. We only taxed the Chinese. Kind of a shame that you now want to heavily tax the Brits after everything we did for you.

Not sure what your point is.

Tax is paid in the country you earn the money in, irrelevant of your citizenship (unless you're unlucky enough to be a US citizen abroad)

English people are far more successful in Australia. Or they couldn't have made it here.

And there is no connection between English born people and British multinational companies half wit.

Oh, and the British have done nothing for Australia.

British people and Corporations are entitled to exactly the same tax exemptions, mitigations  and concessions as everyone else, perhaps you're not clever enough to exploit all the loopholes...?
