Why do we use “he” pronouns with God?

They’re obviously non binary so please be respectful and use they/them when you refer to the lord

Isn't it demeaning to assign a sex to a being that can create/procreate at will? Calling God a "He" has to be an insult!!!!!    But then hypocrisy has never been a problem for the religious.

Jesus Christ is God and he is most certainly, male.

Because he's male, silly.  How else could he become the father of Jesus Christ?

He created Adam not only in his own image, but in his very likeness, just like Seth grew up in the image and likeness of Adam.  Seth looked just like Adam.  Adam looked just like God.

What would you suggest which pronoun that you would use , as a singular number, to suit yourself. Since GOD is the one who creates all live with the pronouns of , he , she with genders and  it with out gender or plural as, they, them , their with out gender . Since mankind have to use human languages that bound by all the limitations of place, time , situation for understanding each others in order to know their Creator, whos is GOD the Lord of all the worlds. As GOD said, there is nothing like  unto HIM, since HE encompass all things of HIS creations, including human languages . That is why HE send down all HIS revelations ,as according to the languages, that  HIS Messengers spoken to their people of that certain eras , as being the Holy Scriptures of GOD, ie; in Syric, Hebrew and Arabic.

No.  HE is a fictional character that is typically portrayed as male.  Take your snowflake virtue-signaling back to Twitter with the rest of the Twits.

  • Either that, or the Bible was written by men in a time when women were property.

    What's wrong with binary?

Non-binary may sound more PC to the ears of the YA community, but doesn't hold water in religious thinking.

It represents God as the Father. A father provides, and is the head of a family. This analogy fits God by being a provider and sustainer of the universe.
