Where do you add the transmission fluid in your Ford 150. I think it's where the dip stick is pulled out, but I'm not sure?

Add ATF down the tranny dipstick tube. Just make sure the vehicle is at operating temperature and take several readings on the dipstick. Look at both sides of the dipstick and wait for a minute to read the dipstick if you added ATF. The ATF shouldn't be lo unless you have a leak at the ATF cooler lines.

On my 2010 there is no dipstick you have to go under the truck and pull a plug in the transmission and check. There is no need unless it is leaking, transmissions don't USE oil like an engine can.

The F150 was introduced in 1975. Since then, it has had varying engine and transmission models all with different methods of checking and filling
