Is the IRA still around or a tive or not anymore, and why is it frowned upon to support I independence for Ireland?

Of course the Republic wants control of NI too. That’s the real reason behind the lack of progress with Brexit. The wrong agreement is a signal that the British government is willing to ditch NI.

Here's the thing: the Republic of Ireland is ALREADY INDEPENDENT. That's right. Has been for almost a century now.

Northern Ireland officially remains under UK control for now, but it's anybody's guess how long that will last, given how shockingly badly the UK has dealt with the corona crisis, and of course the mess that is Brexit.

Thanks, but the only outside involvement we need is help, support, tact; not mouthy Yanks who think they know something and have no idea what they don't know.
