The Chinese weaponized flu is more easily contracted through the aerosol droplets floating from everyone's mouth. It is more dangerous than most flu in the way it attacks the respiratory system. We understand more about infection than in years past. This disease was probably invented as a bioweapon to be stored by the evil Chinese. There are more people on earth in close corners than at any time in history. All of those reasons are why this plague is so dangerous. We also have more toys to entertain us than any people who ever lived since the beginning of time. So give and take, it's not as bad to be on lockdown today than back in the dark ages before digital communications and entertainment. So we'll all probably live through it. I mean most of us who don't contact the Chinese weaponized flu.

"NEVER having a lockdown?" is a misunderstanding.
Lockdowns are simply quarantine measures. Quarantine has been a way to try and stop the spread of a disease for literally thousands of years. That includes preventing strangers from entering a city or town or village. It's just that a big thing is being made of this approach and the idea that it might be enforced by governments.
But it really has been a way of handing epidemics for millennia
