How do spiders even get in my house?

There was a spider climbing up its web in the toilet today and it freaked me out. How in the world did this spider made it in my house unscathed?

Probably been living there all its life. I have several resident spiders around, a few cellar spiders, couple sac spiders, half dozen house spiders, even a couple grass spider sorts, all living together in harmony. Nice arrangement we have, they eat pest bugs, I let them be to do their thing.

Through tiny cracks and whenever you open the door/ window. You can't stop them, even in a new house a few will get in. Just kill it and forget it.
