what do you think?

"Some discomfort is inevitable in classrooms if the goal is to expose students to new ideas, have them question beliefs they have taken for granted, grapple with ethical problems they have never considered, and, more generally, expand their horizons so as to become informed and responsible democratic citizens." American Association of University Professors 2014

what do you agree or disagree with this quote? Why/why not?

I believe in  "train up a child in the way they should go."  I believe the Bible has answers to life's problems.  I am a senior citizen now who became a Christian  in my late 20s.  I think parents should homeschool if at all possible.  I know this is difficult (I never had kids of my own)  but the classroom today is a  very dangerous place; what with shooters, bullies, Covid, and lots of misinformation there.
