Why does my dwarf hamster always sneeze? I’ve tried all different types of bedding and food...?

There is dust in the material, I suspect sawdust. For use with animals the wood chips are fed trough a static field that removes any. Unfortunately this is for farmers as far as I can see from where I live and not commonly available in pet shops and grocery stores. When you move your hand through the bedding material there should not be any dust left as evidence on you. This fine saw dust will also make the small animals scratch themselves, something that can not be observed with suitable bedding.

It could be an environmental allergen, like opollen. Try a HEPA filter near the cage. If that doesn't work, you might need to talk to a vet
