Ok, remove the sugar and what would you have ? A jar of inedible orange rinds.Yay sugar !  😁

AFAIK marmalade is made from bitter oranges and has a lot of added sugar to make it palatable.  I would say its less healthy.

marmalade has large chunks of fruit but also boatloads of sugar. Eating an orange is healthier than marmalade or even orange juice.

Marmalade is made with oranges but has a lot of sugar added, So its 'healthier if you just eat an orange.

With the added sugar, it's not as healthy.

Marmalade is UNhealthy because of all the added sugar it contains.

Marmalade isn't 'healthy' at all .. it's about 50% sugar, by weight.

Marmalade [note spelling] is less healthy than fresh oranges because of the high level of added sugar. Sainsbury's sell a reduced sugar marmalade, but this will still not be as good as fresh oranges. Marmalade and jam do not count towards your ['5+ a day']
