Of course not the religious extremists were thrown out of England ( went to Holland and was thrown out of Holland for the same reason) because they refused to live peacefully alongside the then highly church attending religious  population without abusing and harrassing them, they reinvented themselves on their journey to become 'pilgrims'..........these extremists couldn't even tolerate their own countrymen and that included their own families unless they agreed with everything they did and became part of their warped religion, so they would have been totally intolerant of black people let alone accepting of them

But do note that there were quite a lot of black people living in communities in a few parts of England at that time, especially in London. About 100 years earlier King Henry VII had a named black trumpeter, John Blank , who was well renowned and paid generously.

No. The pilgrims were a specific group of the English settlers who came to North America on the Mayflower and established the Plymouth Colony in what is today Plymouth, Massachusetts, named after the final departure port of Plymouth, Devon. Their leadership came from the religious congregations of Brownists, or Separatist Puritans, who had fled religious persecution in England for the tolerance of 17th-century Holland in the Netherlands.  There were no blacks involved.

    Why is everything about racism?

Liberals are supposed to be the "Progressive" party, and yet, each day that goes by we're regressing back to the days before the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964.

Now it's gotten to the point where we're worried if a pilgrim was black.

What difference does it make? It was an event that took place almost 400 years ago. Are Liberals trying to collect reparations for that too?
