Isn't it good that trump selected a conservative judge, and this means abortion may soon be banned?

Update:

Summertime: mistreated is far better than being killed by the atheistic left.

Well, dummy, the U.S.S.C. already had a 5-4 CON advantage before Ginsburg J. died.  Why didn't it overturn existing law already?

If the U.S. is stupid enough to do this, women there will simply flock to Canada, where we don't have any legislation pertaining to abortion at all.  That's been so since 1988.  It was rightly struck down by the S.C.C. as denying a woman her right under Charter S. 7 to "the security of the person"

Like almost all CONned, you're too stupid to realise that NO human is "killed" by abortion.  A fetus is terminated.  It's like going to the toilet.

Marriage, sex, and abortion are matters of states' rights.  The Supreme Court just might stop overreaching its authority.

I certainly hope abortion will soon be made illegal in every one of the 50 states.

Restrictive abortion laws don't reduce abortions.  https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/... Do you care about reducing abortion, or do you only care about turning women into criminals?

No, it will not be banned.  Roe v Wade will never be revisited without reason, and no cases will ever work their way up to the Supreme Court to have it revoked.

Even if Roe v Wade were overturned tomorrow abortion would still be legal in some places. New York state made abortion legal before Roe v Wade and Hawaii has some of the most liberal abortion laws anywhere and laws that have not been enforced in over fifty years would not immediately go back into effect.
