What is the proper etiquette to see an out of town relative when they are passing through town?

I just missed one and I want to try again next time someone’s here.  I don’t wanna be a pest but I also want to be close to family.

Update:

I don’t me now in a pandemic I just mean in general.  There’s no out-of-town relatives around right now

The number of times you've posted about this ...

I don't know if you're being a pest to them, but you're certainly becoming one to *us*.

Sorry, but you've asked about this far, far too often.

With COVID, the relative is being smart to limit exposure to others.

There is a pandemic going on, so I would not be in a hurry to meet anyone from out of town.

  • hello … g'bye … and  don't  forget  the  middle-finger  salutation.
