Why are people quiet when we do good but always be the first to say something, when they notice something negative in us?

This is just in life and experiences... people are dead silent when I do good but never are whenever I screw up (which is not often at all.)

It's in our nature to criticize, then it becomes a bad habit. We forget that in order to promote good behaviour we have to catch a person doing something good and compliment them or acknowledge it.

Negativity breeds resentment and thoughts of payback. Positive responses lead to better outcomes for everyone.
