    Your teacher doesn't want to read our answer, he / she wants to read YOUR  answer. We are not your friends, Wikipedia and Google are your friends. Wikipedia and Google can answer that question for you in minutes. Try them, it's not like attempting rocket science or brain surgery.

    First, if you're going to come in here and have others do your homework for you, at least have the intelligence to not include the question number.

    Secondly, do your own work. You'll never learn anything taking this route and you'll end up like the rest of the "no child left behind" group who wouldn't know how to spell their own name if it wasn't written on the inside of their shirt collars.

    Native Americans taught the colonists how to fight in the forests using guerrilla tactics. The British were used to fighting battles in large open fields with massive armies on both sides of the field charging at each other. The colonists hid in the woods and picked them off one by one as they were marching. The British considered it uncivilized and a war crime.
