    Units?    A pint is generally one serving of beer.   "Gimme a pint mate."    It is two cups,  half a quart,   eighth of a gallon.   In metric it is about 475 ml give or take,  roughly half a liter.

    As a very rough guide a unit is half a pint of beer, cider or lager, so a pint would be two units. Of course, that's just a guide, a stronger beer, cider or lager would be more.
