Physics Question?

A rocket is launched from rest directly upward in such a way as to have a constant acceleration of 6 m/s^2. How much time does it take for the rocket to reach a height of 75 meters?

    2h = a*t^2

    t = √ 2h/a = √ 2*75/6 = √ 25 = 5.0 sec

    s = ut + ½at²

    75 = 0t + ½(6)t²

    3t² = 75

    t² = 25

    t = 5 s
