What can I do to get better at archery?

I did archery in college for 2 years and then I had my own bow for christmas. It's just a standard recurve bow. I've been practicing in the garden but I was wondering wether theres anyway without taken more lessons, is there a way to get better at archery? Maybe some tips or a course online?

No, not really. There is no substitute for practice. It has to become muscle memory. I know this will sound stupid, but the best thing is to not develop bad habits and have your muscle memory always reverting back to those bad habits like canting the bow or an unclean release. Stick with it, it'll happen. Good luck.
