How dangerous is driving on winding roads when it’s snowing?

    Exactly as dangerous as the drivers on said winding roads.  No more, no less.

    Snow is slippery, and most people understand that basic fact.  The problem isn't the snow, the problem is people who overestimate their ability to drive on it.  Some of them think they're more skilled than they really are, some of them think their winter tires and / or 4WD will solve the problem for them, and some people think all of the above.  And over and over, winter after winter, thousands of people find out they were wrong.

    Go very, very gently. Accelerate and brake gently. Give yourself plenty of time. If in a manual car, nit auto, use the highest gear reasonable.

    The answer is very dangerous especially in a rear wheel drive car.

    Depends on if there are other cars or trucks on the road, and if one is driving too fast or using the breaks.  Ice is a bigger issue.  Avoid sudden accelerations and breaking and one is usually alright as long as the snow in not too deep.
