I live in Az, lived here all my life (50ish yrs) Can someone explain to me why ...?

This late in September the temperature is STILL 106° as I type this?  The avg. temp for this day is 101°.


@audry, that's bone chilling for a desert dweller.  May as well be -49°.  ☃️

    'Average for the day' means some days in the past were warmer and some were cooler.

    This is one of those days when it's warmer.
