What is the best way to get spray paint off my tire rims?

    Use the hodgepodge of different answers here, mix all said chemicals into a bucket, and go nuts.

    use gunk  or alcohol  and some Ajax cleanser lots of elbow grease  and water to rinse.  Anything  stronger than this will attack point. . DOT 4 makes great paint remover...

    Pull wheels off one at a time, use some brake fluid to remove the spray paint then rinse well with soap and water.

    Acetone (nail polish remover) will definitely take it off. Be very careful not to get it on the car paintwork as it will remove that too.

    Don't use abrasives or paint remover.  You might have painted aluminum rims.  Try a drop of penetrating oil like WD 40.

  • Turps or methylated spirit and a bit of elbow grease should suffice.
