    The Democrats do have a history of not being able to see the folly of their ways, which generally leads to death or destruction, see the west coast these today

    Yes, this has already been shown. Justice Kavanaugh would not have been appointed if the Democrats hadn't done away with the 60 votes needed for confirmation. I don't know if there is time to get the vetting and hearings out of the way if Trump nominates a replacement for RBG before the election. The Democrats will certainly drag things out as long as possible and hope the election results put them in a better position.
