Are these sentences grammatically correct and do they sound natural?

1. I received my formal schooling from one of the best institutions of India.

2. I have had my formal schooling from one of the best institutions of India.

3. I have acquired my formal schooling from one of the best institutions of India.

    1. Sounds the most natural to me.

    3. Sounds too formal for American English.

    But they all should say...."best institutions IN India".

    No.1 is the best form for me in Britain.  But I would change 'of India' to 'in India'.
