Is it true copy and paste is better than backup feature ?

I know what you are asking. Yes I've used copy paste for backing up files all the time. It works really well I think.
I've used the, create an image feature and the image is messed up.

A proper backup programme will be able to automatically back up the required disk(s) or folder(s) regularly and automatically.
Copy and Paste is not a backup strategy, takes time to do if more than a few non-consecutive files are involved, and cannot be automated - so it can easily be forgotten for days on end.

To me it is because Copy-Paste allows me to manually pick what files to back-up and tell where exactly to keep them.

Copying is great if you're dealing with one or three files.
Backups are for your whole file system, including your operating system and software you have purchased and kept up to date -- you'd have to spend hours doing the sifting to find the files to copy one at a time.
