Does the dentist want you to wear a mask while he’s working on your teeth?

Somehow I don’t think that would work very well.

Just got a cleaning and wisdom tooth pulled on 9/22/20. when you walk in the office yes, but when ur in the chair for the work or xrays NO. They will protect them selfs with mask and face shield just in case your sick. If your sick stay home dont be one of those people.

I can't go to my dentist because he's catching up with all his patients first!

No. the dentist will wear a protective shield and a face cover, and you rinse your mouth with diluted hydrogenperoxide before the work starts
