How to cancel a meeting that I don't want to attend?

For context, I got invited to a meeting about a business opportunity from an acquaintance. At first I wanted to hear him out but now I realize that it is a pyramid scheme and I don't want to go to the other side of town just to tell him no. How do I cancel this meeting being polite but letting him know the door is closed?

Hi Bob,  After thinking about it, I've realized I've got enough on my plate with my regular job and I really am not interested in a commissioned sales gig on the side.  Thanks for thinking of me, but I'll save your time by cancelling our meeting for next Friday.   Cheers,  Barbara.

Tell him to take his meeting and shove it.

Say you're not in a position to pursue this opportunity at this time

I appreciate the offer, but after looking into it, this isn't the role i'm looking for.
