I need to go to the dentist, will they just send me a monthly bill or is payment required right away? ?

Most of the time payment is desired before dental treatment is completed. Sometimes in smaller towns with privately owned offices, they will let you pay it out. Most of the time they will provide options such as Care Credit, which is a 3rd party financer for your estimate given in your treatment plan.

That's a question to ask the dentist's office. Call around. If you don't have insurance, you may need to pay at the time of service. Some may be willing to set up a financing plan.

In my experience, you have to pay on the day of service. But check with your local dentist.
