If I was riding my bike and got Hassled by the grammar police is it alright to say "there, their, they're?"?

    just ride faster so they dont have time to bother you

    Often people's poor grammar gets corrected on this forum. When you can't post a question using correct grammar it shows you're at a below average education level. 

    As for "there, their and they're" it depends on how the word is being used in a sentence. Since all three words sound very similar a person wouldn't know you were using the incorrect word by simply hearing it. 

    Now it would be obvious to a person of at least an average education level that you used the wrong word if they were reading something you wrote.
