Can I hook up my computer to my TV?

I want to functionally replace my desktop monitor with my flatscreen. Any way to do this?

You will need to look at what video inputs your TV supports as well as what video output(s) your computer supports. Connect the appropriate cable to both ends and you should have video on your TV.

Like Rayal said, HDMI is the most common input on TVs and computers, but depending on your specific models, you may or may not have different connections.

if your TV has the same input ports as your monitor, then yes.

Many flat screens and computers have HDMI connectors.

I used to use the white DVI connector or the blue VGA connector to connect my computers to TVs.

    Now I just use HDMI.
