Do you think the average British citizen is aware of how difficult life in the UK is about to become?

With everything going on in the world on top of Brexit. After all, it will be the little guy that shoulders the burden. Do you think the average joe is aware of what's coming?

This is another remoaner trying to make us all believe in his silly 'operation fear' stories.   Life will be better for many, and worse for a few.   That is what I am looking forward to.

There’s no doubt about it, it’s a s**t sandwich sitting on a table, sliding towards the aft end of the Titanic with Capt Boris at the helm mumbling “get Brexit done”.

My guess is that those who voted for Brexit all those years ago (well, 4 years, but it seems longer) thought that there would be 2 or 3 months of tidying up a few loose ends and then we would be out and the sunny uplands would be welcoming us.  Does it seem like that now?  Even without Covid did it seem like that late last year?

No, I doubt that many are aware.

No. Those who voted for Brexit don't understand that the UK is still a member of the European Court of Human Rights, and that leaving the EU will not solve any of the sovereignty problems they were told it would.  Big decisions like Brexit need sensible big majorities, not wafer-thin ones influenced by Nazi posters of refugees/migrants invading Europe and on the way to the UK.  A competent government would put leaving the Single Market on hold until the virus crisis is over.

People are not stupid but it's pointless looking to the future, anything could happen.

Nope - and especially the majority who voted for Brexit.
