Which Honda fluids do you stop using in your Honda Vehicle?

I recently came across people saying they stopped using Honda original fluids in their vehicle... Which Honda original fluids do people switch out?

Power steering and transmission fluid should be Honda specific. All others don't need to be.

Honda build cars. They don't make fluids. So any fluids that meet Honda's specifications will be fine.

I have never ever used any original Honda fluids. Honda does not make any of the fluids in their vehicles. I use Pennzoil oil, Purolator filters, and will use Prestone when I change the coolant. They all meet Honda specs.

Honda don’t actually make any of them. They just approve them, and then get them into Honda packaging.

They then sell them, usually at higher cost,  for no additional benefit.

So as long as whatever fluids you use meet Honda’s technical specifications then they’re just as good. Using them does not invalidate any warranties providing they’re changed no later than at the Honda recommended service intervals.

    Any or all of them.
