what kind of personality should an ARTIST have in your opinion to be able to define himself as such?

    I would say honesty if they are to produce anything of any intrinsic worth.

    Arrogance if they want to produce something commercially successful.

    The person needs to be creative. I'd say that is the one defining characteristic of an artist. Everything else is just window dressing.

    No particular kind of personality. An artist (or ARTIST too, I guess) is somebody who makes art. Period.

    I don't  "Should" on myself or others.

  • A vision, be driven to make his art, and be creative and think outside the box
