What location or location(s) is the Stanley cup finals going to be played at?

Are they in a fixed 1 location Toronto or Edmonton?

Is it like all previous seasons based on regular season standings or resead for home ice advantage?

I’d think it’s a huge advantage to which ever team has the “home “ ice meaning the rink they’ve played in this whole playoffs

extra question how do they avoid corona virus during travel for the team to travel?

It will be at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

All games are in Edmonton now for Semifinals and Stanley Cup.  The Western teams were always in Edmonton and the final 2 Eastern Teams traveled there.   Home Ice advantage is calculated as usual, with home ice rules used in face offs and line changes.  Also using home bench location.

Teams avoid corona by not traveling.  They are in their own bubble within Edmonton, not going out past their hotels and the arena.

All the remaining teams are in Edmonton. Rogers Place will be the sole venue for all the remaining games of these playoffs.

The only actual home team in that building would be the Oilers, who have been eliminated from the playoffs a while back now.

  • Both conference finals and the Stanley Cup final will be played in Edmonton.  The league is no longer using the Toronto hub.

Edmonton. They're the bubble for the conference finals and the upcoming Stanley Cup finals as well, so there's not that much of an advantage; all the teams are there already.

The team with "home ice" will be the team with the better regular season record points percentage. The teams left are ranked, in order: Tampa/Dallas/Islanders. Having control over line matchups will be a bigger difference than the arena itself.
