If Scotland leaves the United Kingdom what happens to the rest of the union?

Things will continue as they are, not much will change.

England, Wales’s and Northern Ireland will still be governed by Westminster.
But If Scotland leaves and they prosper more without the union then the other countries might want to follow suit.

well, I don't think that will ever happen if that is your king then I'm pretty sure he will stay there forever

Nothing the rest will continue as if Nothing Happened

Only one possible answer - ""Nobody knows."
Wales has been looking rather 'independent' lately. Northern Ireland desperately wants to keep its connection, or did until recently - maybe changes afoot there too.
Many countries in Eastern Europe broke into their constituent parts in the early 1990s, perhaps it is our turn soon. But Germany re-united then!

The rest will continue as they are now, with the UK national financial burden reduced...more importantly what will happen to Scotland who can't support itself now and will have to fund their own eduction system, NHS, taxation, currency, social railway( which is 90% funded support in Scotland) and all the other things.....fortunately the Scottish public said no each time the SNP have forced another vote but the SNP will continue as separation is the only reason they came into existance

England, Wales and N. Ireland will remain as it is with Boris ruling them and us here in Scotland will have Sturgeon leading us but I am not one for Independence as we cannot survive on our own, sure we could for a few years with north sea oil and gas and water but that will soon run out. We are all one country and should remain that way

Each country would need to make its own decision. So Wales and Northern Ireland would remain part of the UK until/unless they chose to leave.

Not much. It will need a new flag and some reorganisation
