How come my brand new laptop won't recharge higher than 95 percent?

Stays at 95% recharge if i unplug it like i did 5 mins ago it went down to 94% and won't recharge higher than 94% im worried what will happen when it goes to 0%..........

Same thing happened with the same laptop i returned it and got the same brand new one and same thing is happening?

Some laptops do not start charging unless the battery is below 90%, as to no over stress the battery with a lot of small charging cycles.

What happens when you let the battery run down to about 15% or 10%, then plug in the charger?

Go to the power profile settings.  It's there where you adjust the amount of charge and when to stop.

It is most likely by design, in fact your laptop batteries will last longer if they are only charged up to 80% and discharged down to 20%, rather than letting them discharge completely and then recharge them up to 100%
