If a car hit a chain link gate at 100 mph what would happen?

What would the extent of the damage to the gate be, what would the extent of injuries to the driver be, what could the extent of the damage to the car be?

Would the gate chain and lock lol open, would the chain snap and be propelled at high velocity?

Would the driver likely walk away with just a “bell ringer” and likely “see stars” but otherwise be able to walk away from the collision.

Would the car be driveable afterwards?

Suppose the gate Is in front of the edge of a cliff. Would the gate impact phase the driver enough to increase adrenaline so a drunk driver would stop before going off the cliff.

That gate would easily be disconnected from whatever it was connected to by a 100mph car.  The car would suffer damage to the front fascia, maybe to the radiator, headlights, the underbody and the detached gate might hit the windshield too, but I seriously doubt the driver would be seeing stars from the initial hit.  If the radiator/fluids/windshield were still intact, it would probably still drive.
