Is there a difference ?
Is there a difference between a supplier and a manufacturer?

Yes. A supplier provides components whereas a manufacturer makes things.

First and foremost, a supplier is not necessarily a manufacturer.
For example: a supplier can be a middle-man (and VERY often is).
For example: a supplier can supply some item that is NOT manufactured (such as, for example, crude oil).
Second (and relative to the first example above): a manufacturer is not necessarily the supplier. What if a manufacturer has an exclusive contract with a business (Business B) - ANOTHER business - that supplies to others one (or more) of its products? Well, the manufacturer is the supplier of that product to Business B only, while Business B is the supplier of that product to everyone else.
