Can I have more taxes taken out of an IRA account when taking a withdrawal. ?

Last time i did not and wanted to make up the difference with this withdrawal

    Yes (I assume you are taking an early withdrawal), it's called "voluntary withholding" or "additional withholding" in addition to the 10% penalty.

    Be aware that this is not a great financial move, but sometimes people get into tough situations and have to do it.

    I do every year, to cover the taxes on other income.

    Yes, you tell them what % you'd like to have withheld when taking money out of the account.
