What happens when children see their parents bully someone (like a stranger) in public ?

    This behavior can have different impacts.  A child may assume this type of behavior is acceptable and begin to enact what they have seen (and carry this with them into adolescent and adulthood), some children may be frightened by their parents' behavior and distance themselves from those around them, some children will be amused and some children will lose interest very quickly.

    Some mimic. Others refuse to, and this could result in the child being labelled mentally ill.
