If you like too divide up the Almighty into two totally different beings, by using the terms the old testament VS the new testament God.?
Can you please tell us where you can find the terms Old Testament and (OR) New Testament within all those thousands of Manuscripts written in either Greek or Hebrew that go to make up all the 66 books of the Bible,
I often see people quoting Richard Dork-ins of people who will always say if he had to believe in Any kind of Deity of God if you prefer, then he personally would be much prefer the one who is in those books that make up what the world calls the New Testament, Much more than the this God in the Old Testament.
Maybe Almighty God never ever used the two terms of Old Testament and New Testament because he didn't want anyone trying to be clever like MR Dork-ings by claiming that what the world likes to divide UP into the Old testament and new testaments must be from different authors.

Malcolm here is Jeremiah 31:31 Look! The days are coming ; declares Jehovah, When I will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant.
Matthew 26:28 For this means my blood of the covenant, which is to be poured out in behalf out for forgiveness of sins.
No Sorry I can't see either the two terms I was asking about that make up the Hebrew and Greek scriptures, meaning the terms Old and New Testament written in those verses.

It's not like that.
The bible is simply a compilation of ancient records. The new testament begins with the birth of Christ. It includes 4 brief histories of the life and teachings of Christ and a number of letters written from church leaders to various groups and individuals.
The old testament is before Christ and is mostly involved with the history of Israel and the temporary law of Moses that was given to the barbaric house of Israel who had come out of hundreds of years of bondage. The first book (Genesis) was given by revelation to Moses and contains the creation as well as some history going up to and past Noah. The rest of the old testament contains the history of Israel and God's dealing with them as well as many prophecies.
It appears as though God's personality changed between the 2 testaments. Actually God dealt very harshly with the hard hearted Israelites in an effort to get them to accept the things of God. Christ did away with the harsh and strict rules of the temporary law of Moses and taught the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. God's strictness with the house of Israel was for their own good.
Animal sacrifices were done prior to Christ. It was a symbol used by the people to look forward to Christ and His great sacrifice. It was replaced by the sacrament or communion which helps people to remember Christ.

The belief in a nasty Old Testament God and a nice New Testament God was part of the Cathar heresy, probably imported from Zoroastrianism. There is one God, but people through the ages have used God as an excuse for their behaviour. The Hebrew people saw their triumph in war as a sign of divine approval. The neo-Pharisaic Calvinist sects in the USA see wealth as a sign of divine approval The USA is the country that claims to trust in God and has God on its side, yet they killed 500,000 Japanese civilians in the firebomb raid on Tokyo and the two atomic bombs in 1945. Jesus tells us a different image of God. A loving father with a preferential option for the poor and who cannot be served by those who worship money and possessions. It's convenient to forget that image if you have wars or elections to win.

Well they are from different authors. They're from totally different time periods and cultures. And both the OT and NT god are awful but I'd prefer the OT where he only smites his own people (Jews) for disobedience, rather than now spreading his rules to the entire world and force us to like Jesus or be tortured forever. That's much worse than before.

The ones who made up the Bible divided it like that according to before and after Jesus. They made the book, they get to decide how it is divided up.
