When it comes to music, does older mean better?

    No. Good music is timeless and present in all ages.

    Good music tends to be timeless, so the claim that older means better may hold some truth to it, but only when you take into account that bad music kind of fades away.

    The thing is that we tend to remember the good music from the past but forget about the horrible stuff that came out at the time. Two decades from now, lots of people will probably look back fondly on the current era of music but will barely remember who Cardi B was or whatever mainstream garbage people are listening to these days.
