What will happen at work?

Just curious. What will happen if I randomly stopped showing up to work. Would they fire me or just assume I quit?

Where I work, 3 consecutive no show days are considered "voluntary termination" or that you have quit.

    They will just sack you.

Minus a resignation letter from you you'd probably just be fired.

Wouldn't it be easier for you to give notice?

You won't know unless you do it. But don't. Just go to work, especially if you like the kind of work you're doing. :)

“I have come to know that there is nothing better for [people] than to rejoice and to do good during one’s life; and also that every man should eat and indeed drink and see good for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.”—Ecclesiastes 3:12, 13.
