Was Diogenes insane, crazy to flaunt the conventions of his day & live as he did?

    Insane? No. His life was well enough cronicled that insanity can be ruled out. Defiant and non-conformist? Absolutely, but that doesn't make him crazy, just peculiar. .

    He actually was brilliant and made us all to pause and reflect about what we should esteem, and about how ridiculously fake we are.
