Do all Tecumseh carburetors have a needle seat/seal?

All of them from 5 hp to 7 hp do have needle and seat carbs. The needle seats in an 0-ring which usually swells up and cuts off the gas flow. Ethanol in the gasoline causes it. Take a small drill bit and twist it in the o-ring by hand to open the o-ring back up.

IDK. Most I've seen on small engines do. Briggs & Stratton tends to go with suction carbs.

@Geo. NO.   A suction carb only allows fuel on engine vacuum, there is a "needle"

attached to  vacuum diaphragm and a  "seat" , of course;  NO float or bowl.
