How much to budget for food at a party?

I’m hosting a bridal shower for 30 people and need to budget for food. Probably a combination of making food and buying it. Thinking nothing too crazy - cold sandwiches/wraps and some other simple sides/appetizers. About how much per person should I budget for food? Trying to get an idea of how much everything will cost.

Go to Sam's or Costco or BJ's and buy some meat cheese and vegetable trays.

It totally depends on the details. Most grocery stores, delis, and restaurants have a catering option.  Just look online to see what a platter of sandwiches would cost at a few different places and how many people the company says that platter will feed.

Basically, it is going to cost you about the same as it would for you to buy  a sandwich lunch for 30 people. When you add in drinks, side dishes, dessert, could be looking at $10+ per person, or about $300.

You'd have to research the cost of groceries in the area where this is happening as they vary greatly by location. Then of course add that total to the cost of any prepared food you're planning to purchase.

Depends upon what you're serving, what you're willing to make, and where you're buying supplies. I could easily serve great food on $4 - 5 per head, but if I went with fancier ingredients or bought pre-made dishes the price could easily rise.
